More than that, the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity gives you the opportunity to join a brotherhood full of deep and lasting friendships, friendships that will last you through your college experience and far beyond. The men you'll meet here we'll be your brothers, your best men, and friends that you can count on for the rest of your life.
Nationally, Phi Delta Theta has a deep history and can boast illustrious members, including Presidents, CEO's, and even the great Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon. Founded in 1848, the Phi Delta Theta National Organization has expanded to 170 Chapters and has produced 244,000 Alumni, a network that spans the nation.
Founded in 1898, our local chapter of Phi Delts are steeped in the history of the school. The UC chapter boasts over 2000 local alumni and over 115 years of history. Since the Refounding (January 2013), Phi Delta Theta has become one of the leading chapters on campus and has resumed its role at the heart of UC Greek Life.
Phi Delta Theta was organized with three principle objectives: The cultivation of friendship among its members, the acquirement individually of a high degree of mental culture, and the attainment personally of a high standard of morality.
